Did you know that Oreos are full of fat? I was totally crushed to find out just how much fat was in a package one Oreo. I am in love with them. And tonight I am craving them… with milk, of course.
But, alas, my milk is sour and my fat quotient for the day is already waaaaay past the legal limit. The tush needs toning, the legs need leaning, and the tummy needs trimming.
Besides, those dark chocolate (my favorite kind of chocolate) crunchy outsides would probably get soft and mushy fairly quickly… unless I ate them all tonight. And that delicious, creamy center would give me cavities… unless I brushed and flossed right after eating the whole package cookie. Also, I don’t have any fresh milk to dip those delicious cookies. Dolores? Where are you?
Um, I’ve got to go. To the, um, bathroom. Yeah, that’s the ticket. The bathroom. Not the store. No, to the bedroom… I mean bathroom. “Where’s my purse?”
I think I just heard my name being called on W Posey. Brenda I will help you all I can with the not needing the fat………drink water……Love you >>>>

you will be happy to know I have been drinking water all evening… it didn’t go so well with the three chocolate chip cookies I had. (keep dough cookie balls frozen in the freezer)

I too am an Orea junkie. I cannot eat just one, two or even ten. It takes an entire package, row or whatever is left…I will stop when they’re gone. And then something else stops for a couple days. Ugh…but they’re so good 🙂

Judge S was saying he bought a pkg over the weekend and ate everyone of them. He is a big health person, too. hahahaha addictions!

Everyone needs a treat once in a while. Oreos don’t float my boat, but if my husband brings a box of saltine crackers in the house I eat them until they are gone, no exceptions. He has to hide if he wants any for his soup.

Girl, you are just too funny. I like those, too, but can put them down after a few. But I almost always eat dessert first if it’s sitting there. Just so I don’t get too full to eat it.

Trinity River – that is the funniest….are you serious? Saltine Crackers! When my kids come home from KC or I know the grandkids from up the hill are going to be hanging out a bit – I always stock up with the good stuff. But I send it home with them when they leave or I am doomed. I think about it all day – that whatever it is – it’s there waiting on me 😦 and I must eat it…..all of it until it’s gone. When Nate was living with us – he introduced me to the “vanilla oreo” Wow!!!!! I fell in love the minute it touched my mouth.
