To James On Our Wedding Day
By Brenda Byassee
And so the morning dawned,
breaking into day.
The music with its melody
had a thousand things to say.
It started with a timid tune,
an underlying current,
of whispered joy and promises.
Nothing could deter it.
The beat became a steady one –
the hushed chords growing stronger
until the song of love sang out,
and they were two no longer.
“There were bells on the hill,
but I never heard them ringing.
No, I never heard them at all…
Till there was you.
There was love all around
But I never heard it singing…
Till there was you.”

Wow, I don’t know what else to say. You guys were so happy and you were so beautiful…….
Well, that pretty well says it all. I especially like that beautiful part. LOL
What a beautiful bride!! Love you girl!! Very sweet post. Thanks for sharing!!
Aw, thanks, Jeana. Should I put the love story between a great gal and a psycho on here? 🙂
I’ve never seen you look so beautiful..,and He so handsome. Love you both.
It was a good day. 🙂
Wow. Beautiful. (Did you write that?) I don’t think I ever saw those pictures. Glad I saw them now.
If you would visit your hick kin more often, you could see the whole album. It’s pretty awesome if I do say so myself. And, yes, I wrote the poem for him for our wedding. Darla read it and then sang the song at the end, Till There Was You. I will dig out your pictures for one of the love stories. It’s a testament to love (?) or perseverance (?) that you guys have been married for… how long?
haha…funny Bren on the part to Jill, not about me singing!
Just lovely…thats all I can say.
Thanks so much, Lynn.
Beautiful B, just beautiful.
You were beautiful then and more beautiful now inside and out…:-)
So touching. A love so strong and true that it is eternal. Till you met again in Heaven
